Sender: owner-online-news@marketplace.com Precedence: bulk Status: RO X-Status: Thanks to all of you on online-news who participated in SRI International's psychographic user survey. The results of the survey are now available at http://future.sri.com (if you don't have Web access and would like a copy, drop me a note). While you are there, it would be great if you'd take the time to fill out the new iVALS (Internet Values and Lifestyles) survey... we'll be sharing the findings of this study as well. I thought the list readers would interested in a few newspaper specific tidbits from our research. In a later iteration of the survey, we asked about 1000 people about their use of newspaper classifieds and online classifieds. Personally, I was expecting online classified use to be a little higher.. Percent of users who have used the following media for purchases in the PAST MONTH: Online Classifieds Men 7% Women 4% Newspaper (traditional) classifieds Men 22% Women 21% Hope you find this stuff useful. I'll be happy to answer specific questions, but if its a general question I'd prefer to answer it via the list instead of private email. Regards- Adam C.
