This is an invitation to check out the website of my (ahem) employer, the
BASELINE online service at http://www.pkbaseline.com

Founded in 1983, BASELINE was something of an online pioneer. We built a
series of proprietary databases, including:
 * contact info for 38,000 entertainment industry executives and talent
 * film and TV credits for 590,000 individuals
 * updated status of 5,500 film and TV projects in production
 * 9,000 showbiz stars listed with agents and/or business managers
 * revenue and cost info for films since 1985

A special feature is our BIOS database of over 5,000 personalities. In
addition to a biography, each entry includes quotes by or about the subject,
awards, milestones, and references. (I would have loved this resource in my
days as a TV talk show researcher).

BASELINE also includes current and back issues of VARIETY, HOLLYWOOD
REPORTER, CABLE WORLD, and THE VILLAGE VOICE.

In 1993, BASELINE was acquired by Paul Kagan Associates, Inc., a leading
media research firm. We've added the texts and more than 40 Kagan
newsletters. Topics range from interactive multimedia,  to Cable TV, to Asia
Pacific telecommunications, to newspaper investing. Kagan analysts write HOT
dispatches on the latest media issues. HOTS are put online as soon as they
are available.

I could go on...but this is beginning to sound a little too "promotional"
already. So I'll pull the plug here...with another invitation to check us
